New lens realeased by Sigma for Micro 4/3's, 30mm f1.4

Reckon it might work with the X5? And would you get one if did?

Quick question Tim, If the lens is to be perfectly balanced (with lets say step up rings or whatever is needed) just because its not on the "officially Supported" list by DJI, does that void our warranty?

If it does void the warranty, can you explain why? If its a lens designed for the M4/3 camera system, and it can be perfectly balanced, I would imagine damage to the gimbal / camera is possible. Or am I missing something?
Thank you

The only thing can be destroyed by the lens that is not supported is  gimbal... however talking about the warranty i don't know if we can proof that you was using the another lens and burnt the gimbal motor (for example), so it's probably will not void the warranty if you will not tell anybody that you was using Sigma 30mm 1.4

Im not looking to put any lens on my gimbal that cant be balanced. I was just curious if it was "frowned upon" if we were to use a lens that is "Not supported". I dont want to do anything that would damage the gimbal. Esp now that I will have my hands on the X5R soon (whenever it ships) I bought a pack of step up rings for about $15 off amazon, they are working well with the olympus 12mm and 45mm. going to order the 25mm tomorrow. I can adjust for exact balance.
