when i try to download the newest update to the controller it cant. it says that it is older or the same but it is the newest. when i wanna fly it says i have to update my controller.

When you go to the about page if it says the RC is under 1.3 then you have to upgrade the RC from the USB port.
Download 1.3 firmware from the correct DJI aircraft page for your aircraft and the USB instructions are in the PDF file in the firmware.
