In NAZA-M, do you think the bottom position is best to be set as RTH or Manual for safety?     Just asking because I've read many posts stating people don't like to shut off the controller to enter RTH.

Just curious on preferences...

Set the S1 switch (bottom position) to RTH. Do not put it into manual mode. If you swich to manual accidently, you'll crash your bird within seconds before knowing whats going on. And yeah, switching the controller off is always a bad choise. In case of a flyaway your chances are really small regaining contrall again.

Manual mode has no attitude control whatsoever.  That means you can invert (turn upside down) your platform.  It is used for pure piloting.  The Failsafe setting is your safest setting.  At least it gives you 1 more option to recover a misbehaving bird.

I've got mine set for Manual.  Gotta be on your toes when you hit it!
