This sucks.  I have a travel case for my original Inspire 1 and because of the new anti-vibration gimbal plate being so large my new Inspire 1 won't fit in the case.  I will either have to cut the case or...
Is there a way to use the original anti-vibration gimbal plate on this brand new Inspire?  I had no problems with the old arrangement and the new one baffles me.  What are those two levers for on the back side of it anyway?

Also, what is the best way to neatly cut this hardened styro?  Is there a template for this?
