Different forums for different birds.
Prefixes so you can tell if the message pertains to a Standard, Advanced or Pro.

Seriously BAD move dumping all the birds into one forum here.  You can't tell what bird someone is talking about unless they go out of their way to include it in the subject.

I wouldn't insult Micky Mouse by that comparison

My guess is they don't want this forum anymore.
With a billion dollars in sales who the heck needs to be bothered with annoying customers anyway !?!?!
PhantomPilots is ok...but it's over - moderated imo.   I'm sure some will disagree.
Seems all their moderators are from California....land of Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and Jerry Brown.

If someone started another well designed forum for Phantoms sans the excessive control
I'd bet it'd do very well very quickly.

Especially given the changes here.  It's needed

They don't need to know how to do web design.  They buy vB software and fill in the blanks, like just about every major forum online.

I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me over time. I have the OSMO,  Inspire 1 and P3P all working just fine with the new App. I do not use the editing stuff, save this for my PC

I disagree.  For that kind of money, they should do everything right.  They market themselves as the premier quad.  Everything that goes with it should be premier as well.

For what kind of money?  So there is some magical monetary point that a company hits and they should become perfect, get EVERYTHING RIGHT?    Apple is one of the richest companies, do they get "everything right"?   Of course not...

To clarify, these toys are very, very expensive.  DJI makes LOTS of profit on them, obviously.  Unfortunately, DJI apparently chooses to spend their money on marketing rather than support.

Support forums should be child's play for a $1,000,000,000.00 high tech company.

So, to answer directly, ALL companies that accept money should be expected to be perfect.  Anything less gives them a reason for giving you less.

I am sure it will and  with a few minor tweaks it will be better than the old one..,

Wanting to See and Feel things grow and improve or metamorphose over time is human nature.
Sadly evolution, often takes centuries for some things to develop fully... ;-)
@DJI is a big caterpillar today, but the multi colored butterfly within is stirring...
