Is the video chip in X5 the identical/the same as in the Panasonic GH4  camera or is it kinda, sorda, nor really but very close...

Do you mean the image sensor? Yes, the size is identical to a Panasonic GH4 camera sensor, but nobody knows for sure if it's exactly the same chip. Chances are it is, since apparently the lens is developed for DJI by Panasonic. http://www.dji.com/product/zenmuse-x5s/x5
