Dear DJI dudes,
Are there carbon fiber props available for the Phantom4 as well? If so, where are they listed?If not, any idea when they might be available?

The carbon fiber props sure made a big improvement on my P3P.
So, hope they are available soon.

I have not seen them anywhere.........but I second your motion.

Throttle feels more crisp. I use them in high wind enviourments as they flex less, they are less likely to break due to stress. I find them to make the Phantom more stable in windy in conditions  but most people on here say they do nothing but I disagree.

I'm not sure what you mean about less likely to break due to stress .. the white ones don't break in use.  You cant get less than zero.

Maybe not measurable, but certainly observational.  The Carbon props definitely improved my braking distance and quick vertical maneuvers.  Only drawback I noticed was the black props are likely to be more visible in the videos with a fast forward or turning maneuver vs the white ones.

just see the features on carbon porps. they said 'Replaces the less secure factory quick-release hubs that have weak springs (factory hubs will need replacing every 30-100 flights; Never leave factory props attached as the springs will deform)'
it's true for replacing every 30-100 flights factory hubs?

Also found some on amazon.

Here we go...back to thoose screw on props

There are several offerings on Amazon, eBay, etc... for CF props. Most [users] say the differences are negligible. Some say they are better for higher winds since they are firmer / flex less.

Just curious if DJI will ever produce them for the P4?  Any insight would be appreciated.

I have a friend who said the same thing, I was just always nervous to basically have knives swinging on my phantom in case anything was to happen to it. Those carbon fiber props are no joke compared to the plastic ones.

Carbon props are available for Phantom 4 from Drone World ($99) and Amazon ($30).  I bought the ones on Amazon and am returning them.  When I first started the drone, with the drone just idling, two of the props flew up in the air.  These were two adjacent props running in opposite rotation.  Had this happen repeatedly. Can't explain it.  They should be self tightening.  The only explanation I can think of is the composite threads failed, or two motors locked up, allowing the props to spin off.  Really weird.  I am back to the factory white plastic blades.
