I got mine last week.
I ordered a new P3Professional from DJI two weeks ago ,  but they sent me a P4 by mistake.
Spoke to DJI customer service, and they said to go ahead and just keep it, but don't tell anyone.

I just spoke to a DJI Rep at WPPI and he said Apple has exclusive contract and they will have them in store at Apple on the 15th. He suggested I cancel from DJI and buy one then. Anyone hear this?

If this is true i wouldn't of preordered through dji, i would of just went to apple store on the 15th.
I hope us people who ordered early get them on the 15th, from dji!!

I just called one of my local apple stores, they said they're getting them in store, but not sure if they'll be in on the 15th. Call back later, a couple days before

I just sent an email inquiry to DJI sales trying to find out about the estimated shipping date of early direct orders (like me - Mar 3) with respect to when Apple Stores would have them readily available for walk-in purchases.  I was thinking that if my shipment would greatly lag Apple Store availability, I'd just maybe cancel and get it at my local Apple Store.  It was a long-shot I know....  but I did receive an immediate reply.

Well, the email reply said that basically they are going to START shipping in the order payment was received on the 15th of March.  Which of course begs the question: when did Apple make their payment?  Last year?  Who knows...

So, I will not cancel my order.  If people simply walk into my local Apple Store near the 15th to buy a USB cable and say, "Hey, looky here - they got them drone things.  Think I'll get a couple".  ... And I don't have mine yet ....  I'll just remind myself that I am saving nearly the cost of an extra P4 battery in taxes.  That'll make me feel a little better.  Besides, taxes, schmaxes....

WOW, for your first drone you are getting the best of the best.
Too bad you haven't been into them for a few years and you can really appreciate all the P4 has to offer.

Well I've played many hours of all the different simulators but I know that's nothing to compare to.  Yes I am super stoked!  One of my fishing buddy's wants me to use it to try and locate our salmon run when we go fishing. Perhaps a future version can have camera mode to cut through the water and locate fish.
I was going to purchase the Phantom 3 advanced and then I saw the Phantom 4, so thought I would pull the trigger. I've been waiting and saving for a year!

Chat with DJI store says March 22nd,  but email to dji sales say March 15 shipping. We shall see.  But not gonna go through Apple Store cause do not wanna pay the extra $100 for sales tax  

Ordered the Phantom 4 from DJI and they accidentally sent me shares certificates valued at $140 Million they told me they screwed up but to only cash them out slowly not all at once so the stock doesn't take a huge hit.

Yeah - they emailed me and said you have to split those certs with me.  They said they will be contacting you.....    Happy daze...

Ordered mine on early 3/2 and my ship date is not till the 23. Disappointed, thinking of  cancelling and just getting at apple.

Nice, you are going to love it.

DJI needs to step their game up and produce enough of them and ship them out early enough to have them in people's hands on launch day. They need to realize that the people eagerly waiting for the store to refresh and preorders to go live are the people you need to satisfy first. They are your core. They are the people that will post "impressions" videos and blow it up on social media. Step it up DJI
