The z = is the height of the GPS in relationship to his base or to the base where the MC is mounted? here is my question, because the base of my gps is mounted below the base of the MC, and I do not know if I will measure from the base of the GPS or from the base of the MC, I know the value is always negative.

The measurement is normally taken from the c of G, you are right about the direction. The difference in the vertical height of an inch should not make a huge difference to the flying. The GPS gives you your position and the MC gives you your height. The important ones are the position left/right and forward/back from the c of g . always mount the mc c of g…. this is important. if it was me i would take the height from c of g for the gps. hope this helps
