I just picked up my phantom 3 std from DJI Repair for continual signal loss at 60' of more.

2+ week turn around, open the box and has NO signal and  video transmission error....plus the go app keeps crashing and the camera settings keep switching from there to not there.
I uninstall and reinstall dji go, calibrate, sync the remote and craft, now dji go seems to be ok, but I AM STILL GETTING SIGNAL LOSS at close distances, RTH, choppy video.

Hell its worse now than before I sent it back....

Any ideas?

Yeah but with that extra couple hundred dollars you get into the brothel quicker...

Well, try to look at it on the positive side..

It was regularly taking people 6-8-10+ weeks to get pi$$ed off and it only took you two,
Now you can send it back and will likely be fixed in 5 weeks,
Still far ahead of the average....

Seriously, DJI do appear to have improved though you may have been caught in the transitions, not sure and cannot honestly say, just trying to add some levity and hope you get it sorted out soon.

Edit..And i felt the comment about the brothel was appropriate given the title of your thread...Just sayin...

What mobile devices do you use? The choppy video and signal loss might be caused by the other 2.4G wifi interference, please make sure you're flying in a clean and open area, also, try to make sure your mobile device has enough decoding ability of the data, try to use the supported list mobile device such as iphone 6. Try to adjust your antenna direction and always let the side of it face to the landing gear of the aircraft.

Im using a samsung note 4. Out in the country. Its obviously a software issue because it seems to be working fine with the litchi app

Many times it is in the settings of the "Device" I am sure they would have properly tested it  ant the repair faciility.  Many times after issues on the Phantom Standard it comes back to the Device (Not always) The Wi-FI settings are often the culprit.  Re-set the phone and begin again, or thoroughly check your device settings .  When you Clear the Go-app also clear it from your Phones WI-Fi settings (Start Fresh).
