Hi Tim

Tried with both on and off , Removed the camera and refitted it , still same problem, contacted DJI support via chat and they said it could be the VPS module

This bird has been rock solid , 278 commercial jobs without one glitch , the silly thing is my one year warranty runs out in 2 days , Go figure

Known issue - turn the Inspire on its head and give the worm drive a nudge (1/8 turn) with a flat bladed screwdriver while the Inspire is off. Fire it back up and it should work. Have you been regularly lubricating the landing gear mechanism as per maintenance schedule?

Yep Tried that as well 4 times , no good ,

The screw driver method is a good way to get get it back into the case when travel mode won't work

Remove the camera, Make sure on hard level  smooth surface, Make sure VPS is enabled.  If all else fails, gingerly slide back the  floating gimbal to expose the Flat head screw . ( Turn aircraft off ) Use a long handle  flat head small screwdriver to accomplish the task.   I believe it Counter  Clockwise but go slowly.   Make sure the VPS sensor is clean as well, look for dust or debris.

Good Luck- donnnie
