My first flight.  I kept the Phantom close just to get used to the controls.  It was extremely windy and started to sprinkle.  I also wanted to get used to the different controls along with the camera settings.  
Really enjoyed it.  Thank you for everyones contribution to these forums and the tutoral videos.  Made it that much better.  

Glad to hear it all went smooth... next time try to land the P3 into the back of your SUV... ;)

What a nice open area for a first flight! Good choice!
My only recommendation is to calibrate everything (IMU and gimbal on level surface, compass out in the open field), set RTH properly in the Go App, fly a distance away and test RTH.
My first RTH came as surprise and, for a few panicky moment, I didn't know what to do.
Now I am comfortable with RTH and sometimes use it to get back home, when I feel lazy.

Thanks!  I was getting used to the controls and did test the RTH.  Worked perfectly!
