I received an email from DJI today informing me that there was a new update for my OSMO that mutes the fan while recording. However the DJI GO app does not say there is an update. When I try via the SD card it fails. Hopefully someone can help me?

I just received my new OSMO with 1.0.1.19 out the box.

Tried to update straight to 1.5.2.00 and it failed. I did everything by the book. I had to first go to 1.4.1.80 which successfully installed, and then go to 1.5.2.00 from there which worked.

Just in case anyone experiences the same problem as me.

format your sd card in your pc @ fat32

extract the bin file to your sd card from the pc but it your osmo and power on !
it takes 10'-15' min
after that and when you see 2 green light and the divice sounds Dt-DtDt
switch off the osmo and format again your sd cart.
that's it!

Is the left indicator grow red or is it the right indicator? Make sure that the battery has enough power, you'd better fully charge your battery before the upgrading.
If you can't upgrade it from the SD card correctly, remove the former files, format the card again, after that repeat the right steps of upgrading. You may need try more than once to get the upgrading worked.

In addition, I'd like to confirm that the latest firmware version v1.5.2.0 still just support upgrading from the SD card recently. In the future, it may support the upgrading in the DJI GO App, please pay attention to further relevant information.
