Nothing if you don't have interest on it or you already know it !
But someone didn't know how to transfer the files from the X5R to a PC / MAC, and what needs.
Bye

Agreed! There is no reason for DJI to charge $1500 for a 512gb ssd. The custom enclosure is probably the only item they manufactured. ITS WAY OVER PRICED. Now to see if I have the balls to take it apart when I get mine... probably wont. Any one up to it?

Agreed! Not impressed.

It's the classic "proprietary" media gouge. Remember Panasonic P2? Man that sucked. RED is pretty rough as well. All you have to do is compare the price of the regular X5 and the X5R to see what DJI is doing here. It's a business decision, an unfortunate one but one they have decided to make.

Judging from the stats, its seems to be a standard M.2 or uSATA drive. If that is the case, it will be interesting if they block us from using our own.  Hats off to Blackmagic for using easily accessible and standard media.

The SSD is capable of recording up to 2.6gbps so equal to an Apple one. On an apple iMac they charge $500 for a 512GB SSD upgrade OR $700 for 1TB SSD!! So yeah DJI are making $$$
