I just recieved my Phantom 4 and I need the serial # for the DJI Care.  Does anyone know wher to find the serial #

Update.  I just found the serial number in the battery compartment.  there is a small QR Code that will decode to the vin, also beside the QR code is a very small set of numbers that are the serial #. Very hard for old guys to read

There is a label on the box with the serial numbers for the aircraft, remote, & battery.

I went and found the box and there it was.

When I'm trying to read small serial numbers from hard to reach places, I whip out my phone and take a picture of it. Then I can zoom in and read it easily. Give it a try.

I wanted to do the same thing but trying to buy dji care I constantly get an error "Aircraft S/N you entered does not exist, please make sure you've entered it correctly."

Where is the serial number for the phantom 4 camera?

I am sending mine in to support and the RMA requires a separate number for the camera.

Hello i think the serial number for aircraft is the same as camera i asked dji so its one number for both right? Did u ask about it?

They are separate serials, camera serial is unable to be physically seen unless disassembled I believe.

You do not need the camera serial number for a P4 RMA since you cannot see a serial number. DJI will know what to do.

For a P4 RMA you only need to provide the aircraft S/N.

Super Easy way to find the SERIAL NUMBER on your Phantom 4. . . First, face the Bird away from you, remove the battery. . .
You'll a sticker... PRINTED BELOW THE STICKER will be your Serial Number.  It's small, so you may need to take a picture with your Cell Phone to see the numbers/letters...


If the BOX is handy... it's also printed on the box...

I recently sent my phantom 4 in via dji care to fix a Crack on the case. They sent me an aircraft back with a completely different s/n... they said the s/n in battery compartment is for the shell, not the aircraft. Such a cop-out answer.  What do I do when I want to sell my p4 3rd party? Why is this okay?

Its a zero.

I entered the assemble s/n from the black case for the I2. I was supposed to enter the QR code s/n. I have to transfer s/n from box to I2 s/n for my dji care to be valid.

the serial on the controller for my phantom 4 has me confused the unit is GL300C 2 numbers is it the FCC ID number or the IC number

The serial number can be found inside the aircraft. Just pull out the battery and you see it right there.
