Hey guys!  Does anybody else's 2.7k@30fps have a strobing effect on their playback with their pc (not on the app)?  Do i need to upgrade my computer to get accurat playback?  Is there a filter that can change help this?  Besides a few sharper colors here and there, I thought the 2.7k looked not as good as 1080p@60fps.

does it work well on the other devices? Choosing between 2.7k and1080p@60fps depends on your requirements to the resolution or framerate.  If you don't need a high res then of course 1080p 60fps is the way to go.

well...  My laptop does great at 1080p, but I would def. have to upgrade to get it to comfortably broadcast the 2.7k

I'm a sucker for visual crispness so I opt in for the 2.7k at 29fps.  Although I can admit sometimes the results can be alittle underwhelming depending on the brightness of the day.  Sometimes the camera makes it too dark when in the sun and you cant see crap till you turn up the contrast or whatever that right wheel does.  But too much washes out the picture and comes up to white

to get good clean crisp video, it is always suggested to follow the frame rate rule of thumb.

That is, shutter speed should be double the frame rate ie 4k 30fps should be filmed 1/60 shutter speed to achieve the best looking videos.  1080p/60fps = 1/120

As you have hinted to, this means some times of the day will mean that these manual settings are extremely over exposed and vica versa, that is why we use ND filters - there is a video on the main forum page describing why we use ND filters, although very simple and brief, it does help explain some common misconceptions

C_LUU, yesterday I decided to test around with the manual mode and you are correct.  Before taking off or when I get it a little In the air I set it to manual and played with the dials till I found a satisfactory view.  And it did not adjust when I turned the gimbal.  It just stayed the same and I had a nice consistant shot.  I suppose for the most part ill be flying manual from now on.
