What do you use to edit your Osmo footage to put together shots, create slo mo clips, etc.? For my gopro I usually use Gopro studio which works well for me. Does DJI have their own editing software as well or does something like Sony Vegas need to be used?

I use Final Cut Pro X . It is apple software and you can edit all Kind of material. Even you have a lot of tutorials on youtube.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC is also an excellent program. I'm a film editor by trade, and have used them all. They've all got their plusses and minuses, but the sheer fact that CC is part of the full suite makes it the no-brainer for me for personal use. I use the old-as-dirt Media Composer at work.

I use Sony Vegas Pro, which is an excellent all-round editor.
I also use Hitfilm  Pro for compositing work.
