Just go in the DJI go app simulator and practice. Practice a lot.

Depends on the Mode you are in. Forward (away from you) is up and rearward (toward you) is down is the default for the US. It looks like you are new to the DJI line of Drones. As stated above use the simulator to practice. If you know of someone with experience fly with that person for a while.
Practise in a large open aera without people in the area.
