This is a flight around my neighborhood. 25° temperature, the maximum distance I got was 1500 feet then I started losing connection.



In this video where the I1 stops, and heads to a different direction, is where I lose connection. I understand that is power lines but the Phantom went further than this.

1500 feet is less than my v+...... Cold must affect the transmission big time.

If you don't mind me asking how did you know that you were losing the connection? You have to forgive my ignorance Out of that video how many different batteries did you go though or chargings Looks good! Wait till it warms up and we can get our hands on a few more batteries It will make those long trips worth it. Can't justify driving 2 hours for 15 minutes of video

Use one battery.
The app flashes low signal, and then you lose the video.
