Okay, so I am pretty stoked right now and had to share this pretty cool find...for anyone interested in getting the OSMO handle for your Inspire1 camera.  So bare with me, I just got done pricing this all out and it's insane what I found.

So, I wanted to get the OSMO for a few reasons, one of which is I am half way there with my Inspire 1 X3.  However, what sucked was that if I bought the OSMO as a full unit (OSMO x3 Camera and OSMO Handle) the camera wouldn't work on my Inspire 1 as a backup camera, but the Inspire 1 camera was 721.60 from DJI on Amazon and I wasn't finding much more...note the "Meditation" in the name...I'd never seen this before.

But I could get the handle for 299.00 and still use it with my Inspire 1 X3 or just get the all black OSMO kit (OSMO x3 Camera and OSMO Handle) and accept I couldn't use it on the Inspire 1 for 699.00 (now it's 754.00)

So then I found this smoking combo!  
I get the Inspire 1 camera which was listed as a "Meditation" part number...lol (now it says "DJI Inspire 1 Part 40 Gimbal and Camera Unit") for 399.00

And then got the handle kit for 299.00

So I ended up with my OSMO combo for cheaper than I would of got just the standard OSMO X3 stock unit and now, I have a backup Inspire 1 X3 for my bird and one and I can really use for just camcorder/vacation stuff and not worry about taking my primary that I use on the Inspire and risk it getting trashed.

Total Cost = 698.00 delivered to my door.
Here's the Standard X3 mounted on the OSMO and the Inpsire 1 X3 mounted on the OSMO.  The white will look a little odd, but I'll make it look like a bloodshot eyeball I figure. ;)


I am just giddy and feel like I snagged a heck of a deal by shopping around and not being trigger happy. ;)  I know the OSMO has some negativity with the MIC and such, but I am really into this device and can forego all the gripes I've seen with it so far with it and think it looks just bad to the bone.   Okay, I am still giggling like a girl at the fact I had given up on getting an Inspire 1 X3 and there it popped up on my screen.  And "meditation part"...that's just so awesome DJI!  I have been way into the Buddism/Taoism thought process many times, so that just was like a mini "easter egg" for me.  What a good Easter!  I can give Easter presents to myself, right? Well, either way, I did because I ordered it!    Sorry for the long rant guys, I hope SOME of it made sense.

Thanks brother Tim!   I got the camera yesterday, and the stick is out for delivery today.   Gosh, you guys at DJI are going to put me on food stamps.  Sure, I'll have sweet Quds/Hexs/Octo's/Camera's...but I'll be eating Dinty Moore Stews off of a Sterno canned heat!
Sometimes I think I'd be happier to be honest.
Either way, that's a pretty good score, isn't it?  Or is there a better way/deal for this stuff?  Any links or tips is always appreciated!
