Hello,

I have an issue with Osmo not being horizontal for several minutes each time after I turn it on, so I have to wait and cannot start recording right away. Not sure if it takes several minutes for motors to "warm up" or is it Osmo's brain taking that time to figure out that it is not in horizontal position. Is this H/W issue should I return it for repairs?

It didn't solve the issue for me. Have been happening for the last 3 firmware.

OK, sounds like a problem then.
Presume you've done gimbal calibration with Osmo perfectly still and upright

I have found that always centring the gimbal after start up minimises drift and slight skewing. (double click) .Worth a try if you haven't already.

Depends on how bad yours is, Dji say to do a gimble calibration after every startup and or after sleep mode, its a pain to do this every time, but every new FW upgrade that dji bring out is improving the horizon tilt and drift etc

Calibrating the gimbal when it happens any drift would be recommended.

When it is calibrating camera is not straight when the lens is up, is that normal? I also noticed that calibration makes it worse, it is better to reset gimbal instead.

When the lens is up, please double tap the Trigger button on the handle to re-center the camera and then calibrate/reset the horizon/gimbal in DJI GO App.

Do you mean I need to face lens up and double click the joystick, or should I click during calibration at the time when gimbal rotates lens up?

I mean double click the Trigger button on the back of the handle to center the camera if necessary.
When will your camera's lens face upwards? If you are shooting with the lens up and find anything abnormal about the gimbal. Centering the gimbal and reset it again will be recommended to get a better performance.
