Is if fixed by now the ability to monitor the audio in real time thru the cell phone?

The latest version has fixed the in-synchronization problem of audio and video on some devices.

It wasnt my quastion...

Do you mean the ability to hear the live sound in DJI GO App while recording the audio? Right now, it hasn't been implemented.

I would prefer to be able to hear the actual audio. If you can imagine a scene being shot with someone wearing a radio mic at a distance from the camera, you would need to hear exactly what is being said...

Thank you Adele. This is exactly what every one who shoot important and expensive productions must have.
At the bottom line, it saves money.
Please make it happen thru the phone feed. it is so essential....

Surely this would not be hard to do, the picture goes to the Phone for monitoring, why not the audio as well, so we can use the headphones.

I have shot something with the visual audio display not going into the red. But on playback it clips very bad making it unusable.

DJI-Adela, Great can you ask your dev team if the audio can be sent to the GoApp & be monitored via the headphone jack on the phone/Cell?

After all we are getting a reading of the audio levels display on screen.

FOR ALL USERS WHO WANT THIS OPTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW

Then perhaps DJI will listen and implement it. (Holding my breath)

Let's not forget, of course, that you'd be listening to the phone -- and which may or may not be an accurate rendering of what the Osmo is recording. For it to work properly, you're going to have to wait for an Osmo 2 or Osmo 3 which has an audio monitoring socket on it.

I'm recording all of my important audio onto an external recorder - and synching in post - until DJI figures out how to allow audio monitoring.

+1 for audio monitoring.
IF it is deemed necessary to monitor / see pictures, then it is ALSO necessary to monitor / hear audio. The 2 go hand in hand.

Another +1 for audio monitoring. I'd also like to add audio metering on the app so we can see the audio input levels clearly.

I am voting for audio monitoring too. Also the display on the app should show a bar instead of the simple stairs.
