Hello everyone!  New to this forum, but not new to DJI.  Was wondering if there has been a update on Gimbal Drift on the X5?  I have my C1 button selected for Gimbal Center but am still having a bit of a issue with having to center it every few minutes.  I looked through the threads and the last thing I saw was in 2015.  Maybe I didn't get the memo.  Anyone have a fix?  Not that major but a bit irritating.

Thanks in Advance,

E

Have you tried a cold IMU calibration. Put the Inspire in the refrigerator for 30 min. Pull it out and quickly do a IMU calibration on perfectly level surface. Or if it is cold at night where you live just leave it outside for 30 min and then do it.

Yes I have done all that numerous times and I still get the drift.

It sounds like you have done everything and done it multiple times. If so the next step is to send it in.

It can't go next to anything magnetic, so it has to go next to the cheese

But the beer helps if it does not work.

Tryed everything mentionned above including, firmware downgrade, reupgrade, IMU cal outside at 5Celsius, Gimbal Cal, Compass Cal, resetting all settings, reinstalling DJI Go, turning on and off sync with yaw option...  And the gimbal still shake a little bit or drift in tiny circles...The only time im able to get it not to drift is right after IMU calibration, but as soon as i do gimbal calibration or reboot the aircraft the drift is back again, this would prevent any type of sharp shots under 1/60 shutter speed, and make them blurry .
I wish they come up with a solution.

Hi sorry for your issue,  but you have posted the same question in several threads and you might be better off to ask the question in the Phantom section of the forum.

Just to clarify, have you already performed both an IMU and Gimbal calibration in that order? Please be advised that there is also new firmware out for the Phantom 3 Pro  v1.9.60.

Thank you for supplying the video. What mode is your gimbal currently in? Did you happen to notice this after a firmware update or a hard landing?

It is in follow mode, the craft never crashed, I received it with firmware 1.5.8 and upgraded it straight out of the box to 1.8.80 (Going through all the sequence of firmwares). I also tried downgrading to 1.7.60 but it didn't solve the problem.

In addition, you're currently in the Inspire section of the Forum, which may be contributing to not finding similar issues. Phantom is where it may be possible to find similar issues with resolutions.
