DJITim has provided us with a diagnosis of the battery issue that has plagued some of us.  

The issue:
LED 1 flashes (green) 4-5 times then shuts off...won't turn on and/or charge...

DJITim's response:

"your battery got over discharged !  Please contact DJI support and get the replacement from your dealer or DJI"

That's interesting, so they get replaced if that happens? I've not suffered it yet but that's good to know.

You can apply for replacement if you receive a new over discharged battery.

Tim can this happen to all Inspire batteries if left for long periods uncharged.........like if the bird was put in storage long term...12 months or more.

Have had this issue on previous firmware revisions.
Leaving it on charge for 30-45 minutes got them going again and charging normally.

Things may have changed in the newer revs however.
