You don't set the altitude, whatever altitude you are at when you enter Active Track is what the altitude will be during the Active Track flight.It will work from 3 meters off the ground.

Purchased my first drone yesterday, the Phantom 4, and so far am very happy with it. However, on this topic of ActiveTrack, I was testing it out today and when simply walking in a straight line away from the drone, it was stuttering sort of from side to side making sudden movements. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

When I've tried using active track my P4 just sits at the hover height and turns as the subject walks around it but never attempts to follow. Then it says subject too far move closer. Idk what the deal is or what I'm doing wrong

Yes I believe so, I will make sure of that once this Chicago weather fixes itself

I'm running into the same issue as 08ninja. It doesn't want to follow me. Just wants to sit in one spot and turn to keep me in the frame. Can this be because the tablet is wifi only? Worked fine from my phone.

I realized I wasn't tapping the GO button got it to finally work. Still afraid to test the object sensing around my area as the tree branches probably won't be detected

Thanks for the time and energy you expended to produce this video. Although most of this I already figured out by trial and error (God forbid I should read manuals?) , you did present a few ideas I was not aware of. Thanks for your efforts!

Does anyone know Why the P4P resets my camera settings every time i use the ActiveTrack? It resets my RAW to JPEG, my ratio, Film Res and fps{:4_154:}
