I am new to photography, video and DJi products

I purchased the OSMO and i have getting poor photo and video quality indoor & outdoors

I purchase to use mostly outdoors for hiking and travelling

the video is very blocky and of poor quality

Could we see an example and your settings?

At work now, i will upload and image and the setting tonight

Also are you talking about the image that you see during live streaming or when you press play on the iphone to review the footage you just shot?

Video quality should be very good so maybe check your settings.

Watch this for an idea of settings etc.

Note this video was made before a lot of new features were added so there's lots more color control now.

As a test for starters, make sure you're on 4K 30 fps video.
Set color to 'Cinelike D'.
Set exposure and White Balance to 'auto' for starters, since you're new to video.
Then shoot some film outside in good light and upload the video file directly from the microSD card to Youtube and post the link so we can see. It should look great. Uploading the file direct from the SD card eliminates the possibility of a post processing issue.

Note, Slow-mo 120fps is poor quality.
Also note, quality drops when you select HD 60fps, and Osmo does not work well in low light.

DJI Adela, just to add that this video was made before all the Osmo firmware updates, so some of the information not correct for the latest Osmo/app.

Yeah, you're right! It's not the latest firmware and App. However it's a helpful and whole introduction, hope our new users will get some general ideas about the Osmo.
