I'm getting this notification on my TB48 battery & 9 charges on it is all. I pulled it out of my case to drain it today into storage and noticed this(ps today was the 10th day, it did not go into discharge) . I'm going to try to completely drain it and recharge it to see if  I can fix it. Does anybody else have any advice?

Current cell readouts are: 4.20v/4.20v/4.21v/4.20v/4.06v/4.12v 98% battery life, 9 charges

Battery level is at 86% currently plugged into the Inspire and in sim mode to drain it. It makes me leniant to fly it if it has a damaged cell.

Discharge to 8% or so and fully charge. If cell# 5 is still like that and the battery history still shows a cell damaged please call 818-235-0789. The battery has a 6 month warranty.

Thanks Ken, I charged it up again and now I have an over charge error on it. Once I put it into the Inspire and power on the status says normal, history shows:

Normal
Cell broken
Cell broken
Cell broken
normal
Low voltage protection

Cells are: 4.34/4.34/4.34/4.33/4.19/4.25

I had issues with this battery getting an overcharge error before as well, even when I only charge with the supplied charger. I will go ahead and give customer service a call.

Sounds good, ya it does sound like it may be an issue.
But also try a few more charges/discharges as well.

Ken, how long does something like this take to hear anything on whether the ticket is approved for replacement or not?

Anybody have any insight on timeframe for warranty claims? It's been 14 days and I haven't heard anything from the small parts department. Just wondering if I need to reach out so the claim doesn't get lost.

Hi Ken

I just sent an email to DJI in California regards to my TB48 has a cell damage.
Battery has 57 charges and battery history record 1 shown cell damage.  Battery was purchased in February 3, 2016. And Hope DJI will cover for the warranty.

Yes, it's under warranty.
Since the TB48 cannot be sent back to us, they require video verification of the issue.
Just follow the instructions in your email and they will get back to you and let you know.

Can you please power everything up and post a quick video clip starting at the About page, then battery page, and then the battery history page.
That way everything can be verified.
I see a broken cell but I think it was a false reading as history 1 and 2 are totally fine.
So, please do the quick video and post it here or add the link to your ticket and then it will be reviewed.
