Just a curiosity, prompted by future modifications, but will my birds - P3P and Inspire 1 Pro - realize the absence of VPS unit, unplugged and discarded? Will they protest and refuse to fly? That is - disabling this feature is no problem, but how about actually removing the load ... A confirmation by sources close to engineering dept (DJI Ken?) will be appreciated greatly ...

They will fly fine.

In my experience, no notice of the missing hardware is even noted on the Go app where you toggle the VP on or off.

The only protest will be at end of a firmware update. A steady D.....  tone will sound (instead of the  D..DD finished tones) this is a hardware missing alert but the update will install okay.
