I have a problem when I shoot in 4k, there is a big optic deformation but not in 1080.

I presume your looking at that railing not being straight?

what lens are you using for this?
its a bit wider than the standard DJI one if its opening to 14mm?

Also, I cant help but notice how not black that black is on the first image. is this common?

I believe it's the math... I think the video feed is 720p. When you display 1080p, there's some, but generally un-noticeable distortion cause by the presentation compression, but when the same 4K image is reduced to the 720p, there's greater distortion. Just guessing.....

Like DJI-TIM states, the real video is on the SD or SSD....

That's not good!
And if it were isolated to one lens, understandably a bad lens that needs return.....

Has your X5 always been this way or is this recent after a firmware update?

Not good!

What software are you using to view the picture? Is the software perhaps trying to adjust the pin cushion (wrongly) of the lens based on the data in the EXIF?

it's not a lens problem ...

before a last firmware , all are ok , just a little lens deformation when i shoot 4k since a fisrt day ...

you don't have deformation when you look your 4K rush ?
