Hi, can someone please explain the VPS System to me, how it works and why it should be disabled when flying over water. I have a general idea (I think) but I would appreciate someone going into more detail. Thanks

The DJI Positioning System uses ultrasound and image data to help the aircraft maintain its current position. So you can fly indoors more easily. Flying over water is highly reflective which is not good, use caution. I disable my VPS, unless I will fly indoors. Go to page 14 of the users manual. It will explain in detail.

No problem, I always disable my VPS, rarely if at all do I fly inside.
