I was just out with the P4 and forgot to check if Object tracking works in sport mode.....I need a bit more speed

It doesn't mention if it will fly at the full 40mph in active track  though......

it will not, Harb. Active track will be performed in P mode so Phantom 4 will not be able to fly 40mph following the object

I think you can fly in P-mode with object avoidance turned off to do faster Active tracks - keep in mind, by turning off object avoidance - you lose object avoidance. I think you might be able to pretty close to Sport mode speed speeds with object avoidance off.
