Osmo arrived this afternoon , wasn't sure it would work with my existing Sony Xperia Z 1 .

DJI  advised that the only reason that any of our model of phone is not on the list reccomended is that they havn't tested them fully yet , fired up straight away with a couple of minor hitches .

Downloaded the latest firm ware and now all seems fine , will now look to get the larger screen Sony Xperia Z Ultra ( 6.44 inch ) which has the same internals .

Have a day shooting on location tomorrow so will update on how we get on .

Day on location today , used the Osmo and shot stills and video in various resoloutions , play back and all other aspects seem fine , Sony Xperia Z1 Compact will do the job with Osmo and DJI Go app !

quick follow up , Sony Xperia Z Ultra , mentioned earlier with the 6.44 screen , works seemingly fine with DJI Go app once updated to the latest Android firmware .

However does not fit into the Osmo holder .

The Osmo holder can hold the mobile device which Max. size is less than 170mm.
If 6.44 is just the screen's size, while the whole size exceeds 6.69 inch when the cover is included, it won't fit the holder.
