Hello

First post for me

My client wants to watch the OSMO video, after filming, on a large hdmi monitor. I understand the micro-usb port is only for firmware updates.

Is there any way to connect the OSMo after filming to watch the video right from the camera itself?  I'm using an android phone

BTW the footage is awesome

thanks

use a tablet that has Hdmi out, or a phone that does that, some phones have the posibility to convert the micro usb into a video out signal

I've used a lightening to hdmi plug for my iPhone to get a live feed out of the osmo. I also have a wireless rig so clients can watch from video village.

That sounds ideal - but do you get an image of the iPhone screen with all the camera settings on it, or a clean camera image?

Hi Ron!
From my experience, you have more and better options when using an iOS device, for example you can connect it to a TV using an AppleTV, VGA or DVI or HDMI adapter and they all work as advertised.
Like others already mentioned, some Android devices have MHL support which allows connecting the device to a TV through an MHL to HDMI adapter. Wireless solutions are also available but all the ones I have tried are not so robust, and were quite a few of them:
- Chromecast 2.0 (http://www.google.com/chromecast/tv/)
- Microsoft Display Adapter (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/micr ... .p?id=1219405806803)
- Merlin ScreenCast Pro (http://merlin-digital.com/screencast-pro.html)
- EZCast Miracast dongle (http://www.ezcastwifi.com/ezcast-dongle/)
... and a few other!
Additionally, if you can use an internet connection, you can live-stream with 24 hours replay supported by using the free Periscope application from Twitter. It is available on both iOS and Android and they have already integrated most GoPro and DJI products, including OSMO. Unfortunately, my understanding is that GoPro and DJI products integration is currently available only from iOS devices:

Hope this helped.
