Wow, it pays to be first sometimes. I have been putting off buying extra batteries because $169 each is pretty steep.

Just received a discount code directly from DJI for 50% off (maximum of 2) - of the P4 batteries. I immediately purchased my 2 for the price of 1.

Wondering if this was just for us super early adopters direclty through DJI or if the Apple crowd is receiving them as well.

shame its only for people who brought direct from dji. i brought mine from apple with a spare battery an now they are doing bundles which would have made it cheaper, i now feel robbed

I got that same email this morning.  I ordered my P4 on March 6th.

some people have had money added to the accounts ranging from $89 to $189

Also received the email for the battery 50% off coupon code.
Now, I am really glad I bought mine direct from DJI.
It saved a ton of taxes (vs. buying from Apple) and now 1/2 off an extra battery.
Thank you, DJI!

I received a code as well, much better than the 1% dji credit I was expecting for an order direct from DJI.  Two bats are in the que.
(by the way each code is only good for up to two batteries so its not sharable)

Yep, I too am starting to feel pretty cruddy because I wanted it in my hand the day it came out (I actually ended up waiting until Friday). I actually called the Apple Store to ask if I could pick it up the morning of the 15th. Now everyone else is getting all these deals because they were patient. Thanks, DJI.

I had the money added to my account 189 bucks. Gotta like it I smell more batteries on the horizon.

I got the cash credit ($178)which is good as I bought eight batteries (6 from DJI)so no need for more

I ordered my p4 within the first few minutes of it going live and I didn't get an e-mail, this is BS I've spent over 15 thousand dollars on DJI products in the last two years. I wonder how they decide how gets a bone and who gets boned?

I bought direct from DJI, pre-ordered, and did not receive any discount on batteries. So it's not for all DJI buyers apparently.

**UPDATE - I checked my account and had received DJI credits totaling more than the amount for a battery, so I bought one as well. THANK YOU DJI!!

Was super stoked to get the credit. Made it easy to pick up the backpack.

Ugh, I already bought an extra battery from BestBuy last weekend.

I suppose it won't hurt to order another one, but I don't think I really need four batteries (if I took full advantage of the deal).

Me either.  I bought direct from DJI and I didn't get any email from them and I have already bought a second battery!  Damn!  I could have used it.  I am on a very tight budget.

No but I assumed you were. You were the one crying about not getting anything free from DJI.

I received an $89 credit. It makes sense, because I paid full price for my P4 and one extra battery on the preorder. Now, they have started offering a bundle for the same items where I would have saved $89. So that's what they credited me. Very nice. Thanks DJI. The P4 by itself is not being discounted, so if that is all you preordered, I don't believe you'll get a credit. At least that's the way I interrupt it.

Did you originally buy a P4 and one spare battery on your preorder? If you did, like me, then the current discount promotion would have saved you $89. So that's the amount of credit you received.
