Hi Ken,

I'm still tying to figure out what's included on the M600 package.
I don't need a Ronin, so I'm guessing I still have to buy add ons to make it work as it should.
What about the A3 updagrades from A3 to A3 Pro? X Series gimball supports/adapters....?! Also not available I recon.

I reached out to customer service and they asked me for two more days.
That was four days ago.
Is anyone buying without knowing what are getting our hand onto?

Hi,

Can anyone at DJI enlighten me??

I have a LB2/A2 combo on my S1000 plus and have ben waiting patiently for the introduction of autonomous flying. i.e. POI and waypoint flying.
I see the A3 and LB2 combo will include these features from the off!! What is the future for LB2/A2?? Will they include these features with the next firmware upgrade??

I understand the need for keeping future developments a bit of a secret but I am concerned that the A2 will lose the support of DJI with the introduction of A3??

Somehow its always the same. DJI has very good products and even repairs are (in the cases i had) handled well, but the information given is zero.

As the Zuenmuse XT was annaunced i wrote an Email to dji's industrial E-Mail about prices, no reaction since then.
As the A3 was released i asked how X-Series Gimbals will be connected, as they are in the supported list, no reaction since then.
Release dates of accessories: They don't exist.
Most questions in live chat have the answer: We have to ask, no information yet etc.

Dji shure has to work on information policies.

Althougt i want to write something about some comments that i red the last week of people complaining about the A2 , that all development will now be focused on the A3.

Me too, i had an A2 on a Tarot Frame and decided to sell it now, but the drone market is fast developing and changing. If you buy things in this market you can be shure that they are outdated after some years.

All the crying about "I want waypoints in the A2" an so on i red the last days feels sometimes like "Buhuu my neighbor has a newer faster car".

Businesses have to develop new things and old things will loose value. Stop blaming them for developing fast.

Given LB2 integration can single operators even use the M600 or is this limited to dual -op use only?

No it can't...LB2 prevents you from simultaneous pan&tilt of the gimbal.  

We're not going to spend close $10K on a full M600 setup with high-end gimbals/cameras without even being able to simultaneously pan&tilt the gimbal as has been possible up until LB2 and is possible on Yuneec Tornado, Alta, Align and many other platforms...why has DJI downgraded the gimbal control on the LB2/M600??

I've posted photos in the first post. I'm building the M600 and I am extremely impressed on the build quality and packaging of this aircraft. Everything is top notch.

I think the practicality line is draw between the Inspire and the M600

my question is the same of always, What about batteries prices and set?, A lot of information about all components, but nothing of this..., the money we will spend could be more in extra batteries than in m600

As of now there is no box or case. I know that GPC will build a case after they get a M600 and figure out all the dimensions. https://goprofessionalcases.com/
Folded, it sits just like the S1000 (but larger). I just finished it last night and to be safe it would not want to carry it around in the back seat of my car so a case would be nice.

Well if you are saying its larger than it may not be able to have a case.  The Case for the s1000 is actually made by SKB and the insert is by GPC. That case is as big as they get for SKB, so I am not sure who else makes a bigger shell.

No problem, this aircraft is truly incredible.

The Lightbridge does have two video inputs, but I would have to verify it would work.

Either you're not aware of the features of your own products or blatantly mis-directing what I'm saying.

YOU CANNOT SIMULTANEOUSLY PAN & TILT FROM SEPARATE DIALS ON THE LightBridge2 radio (or use 3rd party joystick) on either the Inspire nor the M600/ LB2 radios.   This is a MAJOR drawback to any LB2 based system and is the entire reason why I and probably thousands of others are not buying the LB2.  There are also many others on the RCGroups thread that have bought the LB2 and are not using it for this and several other reasons including its impossible to see apps on your phone/iPad in the sunlight.

The M600 is not a single operator solution because of the lack of simultaneous pan/tilt ...unless you plan to yaw the copter for your panning shots which results in crappy video.

With the M600 or any LB2 based system the single operator cannot do simultaneous pan&tilt shots similarly to those shown below:

These types of simultaneous pan/tilt gimbal control are not available on the LB2 or M600 as a single operator:  0:12, 2:50, 4:15, 6:53 from video below:

But its a shame that DJI has downgraded this capability on a go forward basis.  It basically crushes my ability to continue with any LB2 based product, and why, why did they have to go that route when this is such a basic necessity for a single op.

I would challenge your friend to be able to pull off as smooth of shots as what I called out on the previously shared video by yawing the copter...the gimbal follow is not that smooth.  You could use course-lock to overcome some of this but still I don't get why DJI would not allow basic pan/tilt mixing for the single-op, especially when this whole drone movement was born out of single-op operators and there are a lot of us out there!
