I received my 3 pro yesterday and while being able to update the firmware on the drone I have not been able to on the RC.

I spoke to DJI via chat over 2 hours in which time each reply took them 20 minutes before the finally advised me to hold down a few buttons while switching off the RC while still holding them down to force an update. They ended the chat after this advice which did not work.

Can anyone please help.

The RC is showing version 1.6.0

1.6.0 is the current fw for the rc. It's updated. The rc current fw and the AC current fw are not the same number. 1.6 is as up to date as you can get

I.6 would be old for the AC as its on 1.8, but the rc is on 1.6

1.6.0 is the latest fw version of your RC.
