Do you guys use Litchi for DJI Phantom/Inspire?

I do not want to pay $19,99 before having any opinions about this app.

If you lose signal during the mission, Phantom will RTH or the mission will be finished?

I use it all the time works better than dji I have the P3S nothing but video lag with dji no lag with litchi

really good app!!! i use it a lot for waypoint mission and like the fact that i can preset flight on my computer before going to fly... and use DJI go app for freefly!

But dont forget to always COMPLETELY close the other app when you use one, dont let one work in background while you use the other one! some peaple had issue whit that and can bring you to a crash!!

yes will still rum mission if signal is lost

It is well worth the money I use it a lot for missions. the more I use it the better I like it.

Make it $24.99 I did not buy when it was 19.99.. sucker I am

It finishes the mission and lands at its home point automatically. Works great!

I agree with all the comments here. I bought it for the waypoint functionality and it works perfectly.

I hear it also does follow me not based on gps but video? does it use significantly more resourced on the tabled, as opposed to dji go? I have samsung tab 4, and the video is a bit jumpy sometimes... just wondering if I'll need to drop another few hundred on a better tablet... this one btw is still on Android 4.2.. Who knows is samsung will bother releasing 5.x image for it....

Yes. Track mode follows what you select (P4 style), not the RC's signal.

More accurately, it finishes the mission, then performs the "Finish Action" that you programmed it to do, which is one of these choices:

• None (just hovers at the last waypoint)
• RTH
• Land (right where it is, at the last waypoint)
• Back to 1 (the first waypoint)
• Reverse (fly back along the same route in reverse direction, which implies that it finishes at WP1, but I haven't tested that)
  

Btw: unlike most of DJI products that I've seen, Litchi is documented very well.

PS: if this were an app for anything other than a smart phone, nobody would be complaining about the price tag, which is VERY low for what it does, considering that you have already spent ~$1k to $2k on your entire drone kit. Somehow people are expecting all smart phone apps to be $2.99.

I use it for the P3, Inspire 1 and pro and its 1000% better than DJI app. Is my Default app and also get healthy drones account you will not regret it.

I just started using Litchi about a month ago, and really like it.  I'm also taking the (loosely associated) Phantom Film School for Litchi, and that has been helpful, too.

I am closer to getting it.. From description it does sound like a great app that does quite well and better than GO app.
Also, considering it uses DJI APIs, I do not see how it would effect any support from DJI, say in case of a crash that does not seem to be pilot's fault, but some weird mishap due to DJI technology? I'd hate to ever find out that something happened to cause me to crash, and I'd be denied free repair because I was not using the DJI app?

I must be doing something wrong. I bought this app for the tracking option and it sucked. I also experienced a point when the bird would not resend to any of my commands. I wish I would have never bought it. Listening to all the positive feedback regarding this app, I will give it another shot.

because it tells a lot of things from your drone including batteries. It tracks every flight you made with DJI app or litchi it tells you alot about  you flight and keeps a nice record

Cool. That sounds like exactly what I need in order to figure out what is happening with the Litchi App issues that I am having.
