Just curious to see how you guys handle your RC sticks? I naturally went to thumbs but have been told to try changing to pinch as you have more precise control.

Pinch here. For me, thumbs feel awkward.. less control.

I had a dry-run with pinch, as the weather isn't good for flying at the moment and it felt like the buttons were harder to toggle without the use of your index fingers. Do you sacrifice the ease of use of other functions for more flight control?

I have been using pinch since I learned to fly signal rotor many years ago. Imho you have much better control.

I am a Pinch Flyer, I also lengthen my sticks as well for more precise control , on occasion I will do thumbs .

Pinch for detailed or complex filming / flying , thumbs for distance work .

Better , imho , that you learn both and combine the techniques .

I started with heli's and have always used thumbs... I think in most cases it comes down to how you learned.
