Well I bought the Osmo. Had already bought the Phantom 3 Advanced and liked it. Unfortunately, the Osmo does not work well indoors. I should have read "every" FAQ to find that you cant get closer than 1.5m (~5 ft)  to an object and keep it in focus. There is no adjustments or macro options. My Samsung S6 has better video options. I guess that was $560.00 not well spent!.

The filter is around 35.8 mm, Go to 'Discuss' in the osmo forum then scroll down to 'OSMO x3 lens size' thread,  Dji-Adela has posted drawing dimensions

Hey, Robert
Actually, you can find the information about the Focus in Osmo specification at http://w ...

the first thing is to see that the X3 has reverse threads of any normal camera lens, (why?, who knows) so you need a conversion adapter to accept a normal 37mm male lens. The second thing is, if DJI offers ND filters that fit, why not just offer closeup lenses so you can get closer than 4  ft. with the osmo? Or, better yet, just have a lens that can avoid all the converters and adapters.

I already knew about the 1.5m (5 ft.) when I tried to use it. Now Im trying to see if I can find adapters to video at less than 5 ft. I now realize that this is a drone lens just taken off a drone and mounted to a stick. For drone videos, you do not need closeup views, BUT, you have now taken the lens off the drone and created a personal camera. It now needs to be able to obtain closeups like a normal camera. Also, Normal cameras dont have male threads, but this one does, so adding other lenses for closeup views becomes a challenge since one needs to find a converter ring to receive other normal lenses. You offer ND lenses for the X3 but not closeup lenses to compensate for the closeup loss.
