Sounds like it , I suppose you have checked YouTube? your question is more relating to the osmo footage in DaVinci.
I use Vegas and Movie Studio, would it be similar setup/rendering etc?

These are 2 questions you asked, which I wanted to help with an answer, basic or not – its still a valid answer:
Q1: What camera settings? - D-Log, Sharpness, Sat, Contrast etc

We have many friendly and knowledgeable people here who are always so kind to share some useful experiences and feedback. Hope you'll get more advice from other experts about the camera settings.
Speaking of the Gimbal setting, I think the best proper setting may depend on your own habituation since the gimbal is supposed to response to your handle's movement. Please just take a little practice and get familiar with the Osmo.

I've just ingested the Osmo files straight into Resolve without any problems - 4k and HD.
I also use Vegas, but Resolve has an excellent reputation in professional circles for its grading capabilities.

Have now migrated over completely to Davinci Resolve since latest version 14b3 with all its improvements to Edit. It's a amazingly powerful.
