Had a compass error one of my P3Pro's last weekend. Atti mode kicked in but had no control except for altitude so I brought it down as smoothly as possible. It flipped over on the landing and one motor burned out (something must have got in there). When opening the shell (by my own stupidity) I used a screw driver that slipped in and cut the cable shown in the picture... lesson learned. Repair time! OR do I upgrade to the P4?

Save money and stick with the P3P.

I think you've already decided to upgrade & want someone to help you justify it

Fix the P3, sell it & buy a P4 maybe.
