OSMO - Yet Another Problem

No Audio is being recorded!
This is the third major problem I am having with the OSMO with X5.
Audio worked fine with X3, but now that I am onto X5, no more audio. I am using the FlexiMic.
FYI, the audio level indicator shows that there is video. And when I open the file under VLC, it says audio is AAC at 16/48@768kbps, but NO SOUND!

The built-in Mic in Osmo Pro is turned off by default, please go to Camera icon to turn it on.

It's already turned on in the App... of course the setting does not stick as soon as I power it off/on again and I have to turn the mic on again everytime. Even with Mic setting to On, no AUDIO is recorded.
