Nigelw!!! LOLOLOL, Yea right??? Hey guys, I have yet to try it looking down... and I knew that from the beggining that I might be seeing it in a complete downward shot! LOL... I could always redesign it a bit!

BFD, I can put anytinng on it! and print in any color! (Including glow in the darks)

Here are some updated pictures of the gimbal guardThe gimbal guard will not be seen from the camera at a complete downward angle! The guard can be put on either way (name facing up or down, facing up it is more flush with the ground and facing down it leaves a little room from the ground. I can aswell redesign it completely to have the name on either side and sit more flush with the ground. ) Some more test flights and time will tell!

I print and sell a lot... I give away a lot of designs.... Ill see what the interest is here and how many can actually print themselves... (More and more everyday)

Perhaps with your own company name printed into the unit. For an advertisement piece.

That's an impressive 3D printing 'lab'. I'm sure there are many things you could design and print with that setup.

The landing pad is a good idea! (It will have to wait until i finish the big printer, I would want at least a 2ftx2ft pad, in one print.)

Now onto your gimbal guard, do you want it visible when its in the air or landed? Then do you want it visible from standing looking from the front of the drone or back? Red will be no issue.

That is a mini of my buddy that was there with me! I do them for friends and wedding cake toppers! 3D scan you and BOOM Powder print that bishhhh!

I can print it in any color basically !!

Nice design.
If I had a printer the first thing I would try would be to design some higher easy snap-on-off leg extensions.  The ones being sold commercially that I've seen don't raise the Phantom very high...Less than an inch from the original height.  Two inches would be ideal to keep the gimbal away from stones and give the Phantom something to break off lessening the impact when the ground suddenly decides to raise up and crash my Phantom...Or those pesky limbs that suddenly decide to grow at the speed of light and grab the undercarriage.  It's a dangerous world out there.

Done in the widow. (Zortrax, left to the Ultimaker) I have her perfectly tuned in, shes the fail safe.

RedHot I can't get a PM to go through to you!! I can see the three you sent me and I am assuming the number you wanted on the guard is not a cell phone? I tried to text you! Shoot me a cell number (My plan is atleast free to Canada! lol)

Might have to contact a forum rep and look into the pm glitche the forum has been experiencing.
Sorry, I don't have a cell phone, no need... But you can use that number to call me.
Hopefully we can get this problem eradicated soon.
But that is the correct number to place on the guard.

Correct, I hit enter/return and it "sends" but you never respond... So I refresh the page and its gone and just back to what you have wrote. I made a thread in forum help/fix. So hopefully well be up soon!

RedHot... I saw your messages... I already put it on the printer... It has your number facing up and its embedded into it. So it has a lot of definition to the phone number....I started designing a whole new landing gear and gimbal guard combo. Something with more height and wider legs for better landings. When I finish that we can put your forum tag on it as well... Cool?
