Hi Everyone,

Need asistance; just got my osmo yesterday everything work great.

DId the activation on screen followed by the update request, however i think the update died half way on me as the network signal at indonesia is not the greatest.
Kept trying and they end up sending some report back according to the screen. Finally did it manually via the SD card step however now the oscmo wont give me a live view on my iphone 6s and it show the firmware versions to be unknown. If i take a pic, it appear on the sd card however i cant get a preview on the app.

Been going through the forum and good old google

1. reset camera cache
2. reformat the sd card
3. Try to reset te firmware via trigger + photo + power or trigger + rec + power
4. Deleting the dji go app and reinstall
5.

did nothing on the osmo; been sitting down with this piece of junk for the past day just trying to figure out what is wrong

Any chance anyone know what to do??

Hello!
To figure out the issue, firstly, could you please tell me which firmware you have upgraded to? What's the version of your DJI GO App? Do you use the X3 and the Osmo handle?
Is there any other abnormal appearance about your Osmo?

Any more details would be helpful.

Hi Adela,

I Tried to upgrade it to OSMO Firmware v1.6.2.10 posted on 2016-03-24 at DJI web site.
The DJI go app is V.2. 8.1 (2548)
I bought the osmo with the x3.

There is noting abnormal with the device, is the anything i should be paying attention to??

Thanks for your prompt reply!
To display the firmware version correctly in the DJI GO App, after the upgrade, please connect your phone to the Internet first (make sure that the Internet is working well), and then connect it to the Osmo WiFi.
About the issue of live view, can you see the OSD on the screen? Can you control the gimbal in the DJI GO App?
Another possibility is that you may not upgrade the firmware successfully, please try to re-upgrade the firmware. Please make sure that you follow up all the official upgrade tutorial or guidelines correctly.

If you need any help, please let me know.

apologies for not understanding the lingo.. what is OSD?? i can control the gimbal via the screen on the smart phone..

I been trying to upgrade officially.. Any suggested steps you recommend??

Is there a way to restore the osmo back to factory settings?? and start over; like activating the osmo and upgrade.

The OSD is short for On Screen Display, which refers to the live data of your settings on the top of the screen, such as the battery icon or ISO information, etc.
According to the upgrade txt file, it states you've upgraded the firmware v1.6.2.10 successfully. To analyze the upgrade result further, I would like to look at the log file for details, firstly, you enable the option of "display hidden folders" in your PC, secondly, you insert your SD card to your PC to find a txt file named as "OSMO_FW_LOG_AB.txt" in MISC folder.

Please try to re-plug your SD card and check the connection between the handle and the gimbal.
Have you used any other cameras on the handle?

I have tried calling the malaysia service centre however they asked me to contact hong kong instead.

I did and there is nothing much that they can do from the sound of it.

With regards to emailing Spport@dji.com, i been communicating with them on this however they are still prosesing.
