Hello
I want to connect my x5r with the Osmo handle base kit, using the x5r adapter.

Question is:  Do I have to upgrade the firmware first as described in the osmo downloads section,  or do I have to activate the osmo handle first?

I have an x3 from my inspire. Should I use that to activate first?

I just got my osmo last week. I cannot recall whether I activated or downloaded the firmware update first. Does it matter and would I have any sort of issues with doing one before the other?  I've been using it and it seems okay. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

If your Osmo is not activated, when the first time you connect your mobile device to the Osmo WiFi and launch the DJI GO App, it will give you a reminder to activate the Osmo first before the normal using. Otherwise, you can't control the Osmo correctly.

Technically, there shouldn't have big difference either to upgrade the firmware first or activate it first, however, we would recommend activating the Osmo first.
