I have been trying to get my S1000+ up in the air for 5 days now, im on the point of giving up.

I get flashy red lights which dont stop. I have tried calibrated it a thousand times, still red blinking lights. In the A2 assistants it says update the GPS, but the GPS is updated. I get GPS signals and satelites and it works perfectly inside the DJI GO app. I have tried other batteries of the same type, still doesnt work. Is the battery messing something up? Is the compass broken? What is the problem. I have no clue and soon giving up. The Motors wont start ofcourse.

As showed in your picture, the firmware version of your GPS module is not the latest. Could you please download the latest A2 Assistant Software 1.9 to upgrade it again?

I had the latest version A2 assistant 1.9. just to be sure I uninstalled it and downlaoded it again.
And yes, The IMU is connected to the CAN1 port. THE a2 PMU is connected to CAN2.

As you can See. There is some weird thing going on with the firmware? It asks me to install from 2.7 to 2.7..

Have you upgraded all modules to the latest versions?
Please show us all the firmware versions in Info menu.

Hi,
Please try below hard reset method:
1). short-circuit the F1/F2 ports via a 3-PIN cable (see below picture).
2) Connect to main controller to the assistant software as usual. Click “upgrade” and the system will download new firmware automatically.
3) After the download has been completed, please pull out the 3-PIN cable and then click “upgrade” again. Otherwise, upgrade will fail.

I do not think it is.

Once you get your compass worked out, may I also point to a potential issue? Your assistant shows your first level battery protection at 11.1 and second at 10.6. You should have first around 21.8 or so and second around 21.5...everybody has a different opinion but if you rely on the led for battery warning then you are crashed at around 20.5V.

You are way above my pay grade!

SOLUTION:
I found the DJI A2 Assistant v 1.8 and downloaded it.
took the 3 pin cable method, reset the firmware and installed the 2.6 firmware.
Everything works fine
