You need to link the P4 to the tablet/phone for it to prompt you to update..

Hello UFC, since the firmware for Phantom 4 cannnot be downloaded in our website, you can upgrade the aircraft via DJI GO app or DJI Assistant 2 and you can see the tutorial above. Besides, it is more convenient to upgrade the RC via DJI GO app and you will find an upgrading notice in Overall Status.

Make sure you update your phantom 4 first then the RC later.
