DJI why did you change my user name?

My name was drone, why did you change my name to drone.email?

Log out and back in,  mine was the same until I logged out and back in.

Logged out and logged back in same thing.

Close out the complete dji page.  Back to your desktop.
This was the first time this morning I noticed mine had .email attached.

Log out, go back to browser, then reenter and log in.

That is the way I cleared the .email from my name.

This is what I was getting when I woke up this morning, so I just logged out, closed the browser and went back to my desktop.  reopened DJI and logged in and my correct name, minus the .email came up.
I don't see .email after your name Gunny.  It only changed some, but not all.  I always leave mine logged in constantly.

Gerry, did everything you said to no avail.  I too, have dot email affixed to user name.

Drone, fixed it.  Had to go into my account, under profile settings, and fill in 'user name', 'first name', and 'last name'.

Names changed on login but not sure if it works?
Edited: it works but had to change my name from Mike to nickname Swerve

It won't let me change my name it always says it failed they again.

drone, i had the same problem i kept trying to change my name to gnixon and kept getting 'failed', i finally changed to gnixon2015 and poof it all worked.  strange but at least that is what i did.  dunno if altering your text that you are trying will help at all ...

I changed the name and it said it accepted it. but the posts still show my old name.

1. click on your name up at top right of this page
2. click on modify password.(no need to change password)
3. click on my account
4 next to avatar click on edit profile
5 change user name to one you want
6 scroll down to click on save

I did that 3 times

well it finally worked

After you get your name changed, log out close your browser and reopen it then log back in with your email and password.

That's sad, I was so used to seeing "drone" here.

JATO it cooler anyway.  To those who know what it means!  Other people with just think  you are Chinese.

Do you know what my username means? It has nothing to do with planes or RC cars.

In my former line of work, it means Jet Assisted Take Off.

I my case JATO = JATObservatory

The system change your user name because someone register "drone" before. This system can't accept the same user name from two different users accounts. I am so sorry if it inconvenience you.

He was the one that had drone, then one day it appeared drone.email
