Switched to and iPad. I cannot find the area to calibrate IMU. Is this not an option on ios

Yes, IMU calibration is on iOS as well.  Go to Main Controller settings > advanced > sensors
You'll see IMU check and calibration options there.

Ha! I do find that some functions in the GO app are not where I expect them.. I always have to hunt for them! Although i am on Android, the idea is probably still the same...
