Hello all,
I am experiencing dropped frames when shooting raw (Inspire 1 X5R) on some of my footage.
The DNG sequences clearly show a few missing frames when advancing frame by frame.
I was wondering if anyone had experienced it.

This issue might be related to the Micro SD card you are using. If its too slow to write, you will loose frames.
Check yours compared to this list. https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/Alternately, I recall seeing a Hardware compression setting, not sure if this exists for the X5r, but try that and see if it helps hurts.
FYI, You probably want a good quality UHS3 SD card, supports 30MB/s

Did you format the SSD card using the PC/Mac before?

I don't think so but prior to the flight, I formatted the SSD in the bird.

What frame rate are you recording at? And are the drops random or after a certain ammount of frames?

Recorded at 29.97 in UHD and no the frame drop is completely random.

Please try to format the SSD using the drone again and to see if the problem were solved.

BTW: There was an issue which we have met during the development is an SSD formatted by OSX started to drop frames occasionally, quite similar to your case.

After reformatting the SSD and reloading the latest firmware it seems to be working in 4K. I still have to try it in UHD which the faulty footage was shot in.
Difficult week for me. One of my  new GoPro Hero4 Black is a lemon. Going back today for an exchange.

All is good, shot some UHD footage yesterday and it looks great. No dropped frame

You can't format SSD on pc/mac - only via the app.

DJI didn't have time to fix CineLight as they where probably busy creating Chinese New Years themes for the mickey mouse editor in the GO app.
